Guest Facilities

All 101 comfortable air-conditioned guest rooms including 4 suites are equipped with bathroom, TV with 4 channels in-house movies, radio, IDD telephone, WLAN Internet-connections (at a suppl.), private safe box, minibar and coffee & tea making facilities. Some of the rooms have trouser presses. Our hotel welcomes also less abled bodied guests. Our 3 specially adapted rooms are available upon request, as well as our non-smoking rooms.

In early 1997, after the new construction of the 2^nd wing has been done, the hotel has enlarged from 34 rooms to 81 rooms. All the rooms in the 2^nd wing have air-cooling and air-conditioning systems, private safe box, WLAN internet connection (at a suppl.) or dial up connections and trouser presses. Within this part of the building, there are two rooms fully equipped for less able bodied guests.

Starting from November 2004, our 3rd wing extension project has been launched. This is the most recent extension of the hotel to create our capacity of rooms from 81 to finally 101 rooms. This extension has been completed in March 2005. A newly constructed 3 stories building with 20 modern guest rooms has been built. All the rooms in the 3rd wing are fully air-conditioned and equipped with private safe box, minibar, Pay TV, internet connections (at a suppl.) etc. The entire building is a non-smoking area. There is one room fully equipped for less able bodied guests.

Golden Tulip Hotel de’ Medici welcomes less able bodied guests. Our 3 fully adapted rooms are available upon request. All 3 rooms are comply with the requirements of the tourism authority of Flanders. Those 3 rooms are equipped with special care phones to call for emergency assistance to the hotel reception. Other features include easy wheelchair access in the bar, toilets, restaurants and a portable PC for internet access is available at the reception. The hotel’s private car park also has two reserved spaces with valet services if required.
